Paul Pomerleau & Associates Clients

To whom it concerns:

I am offering my Paul Pomerleau & Associates services and products.  I was an education and electrical / technology professional in eighteen years of my previous positions as detailed in the following paragraphs. As a Technology Leader, with experience in information technology, I feel my background may be of interest to you. My qualifications include:

•      instructing computer and other courses as an adult instructor/teacher and school teacher for nine years. I prepared and presented classes in both classroom and lab settings (in both traditional and student-centred self-paced learning environments). I acted as student advisor to small groups of student associations. I developed learning materials; seeking feedback from students on instructional effectiveness and relevance. I participated in course/program review and curriculum development.

•      obtaining an equivalent of eight years post secondary education that includes: a Bachelor of Education degree with an additional two years of computer programming and business application courses including COMP 445 Voice and Data Communications (Macintosh TCP/IP, UNIX, Novell NetWare . . .) I also have a Journeyman Electrician certificate including structured wiring using category 5 network cabling and fibre optics cable splicing.

•      initiating and maintaining a school board Website using MS FrontPage 2000 and submitting the Website to search engines

•      the purchase of one hundred thousand dollars of computers, photocopiers, telephone systems, and other technology. I helped set up, configure and provided support for all these technologies.

•      installing software and hardware proxy servers (Nortel 100 Internet Switch box and a Linksys ADSL router) at three sites to allow the sharing of one ISP connection to as many as 128 computers

I have always had an interest in technology education, and believe that this enthusiasm shows in my work. I respond well to a challenge and enjoy the opportunity to get pleasure from the rewards of hard work and dedication.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future to schedule a service or provide a product. I hope to learn more about your goals, and how I can contribute to its success.

Sincerely,

Paul Pomerleau
